State Rep. Josh Schriver today announced that he has been appointed to the Michigan Justice for All (JFA) Commission by Speaker Matt Hall. The commission works to identify accessibility gaps in Michigan’s justice system and improve access to legal resources. 

“My goal in this role is to ensure liberty and justice for all, born and unborn,” said Schriver (R-Oxford). “My mission on this commission is to ensure American citizens in Michigan reserve their right to an attorney. I aim to ensure that U.S. taxpayer funds and resources are spent on the taxpayer, and I will block any misallocation. My priority is America first.” 

The JFA Commission was established by the Michigan Supreme Court in 2021 to address gaps in Michigan’s justice system, ensuring that American citizens have adequate access to the civil justice resources that they are entitled to. Schriver will focus on protecting access to legal representation while ensuring that taxpayer-funded resources are used according to the priorities of the taxpayer.
