Rep. Schmaltz named Legislator of the Year by Small Business Association of Michigan

State Rep. Kathy Schmaltz was recently named Legislator of the Year by the Small Business Association of Michigan.

“This recognition means so much to me, especially coming from an organization that plays such a crucial role in supporting our local economy,” said Schmaltz, R-Jackson. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for the hardworking entrepreneurs and business owners in the Jackson and Chelsea areas. Their success helps our communities thrive, and I am committed to continuing my efforts to support and advocate for them in every way possible.”

The Small Business Association of Michigan advocates for Michigan’s small business community and serves more than 31,000 members in all 83 counties of the state.
