Rep. Annette Glenn, R-Midland, today joined Governor Whitmer, House Speaker Jason Wentworth, Rep. Timothy Beson and others to celebrate the opening of the temporary M-30 bridge in Tobacco Township.
“It was great to be with the governor, the Speaker and so many others today to tour the recently constructed bridge,” Glenn said. “It was a wonderful opportunity to thank everyone who rallied together and helped complete this impressive structure. It is yet another sign of our community’s strength and spirit in the aftermath of last year’s flood.”
The temporary bridge is a $4.3 million investment to replace the former M-30 causeway bridge, which washed away during last May’s flood.
