


State Rep. John Damoose was joined by his family during ceremonies at the Michigan House.
New State Rep. John Damoose of Harbor Springs was sworn in today by House Clerk Gary Randall as the 101st Michigan Legislature began session.
“I am honored and thankful for this opportunity to represent the people of Northern Michigan and our shared values,” Damoose said. “It has been a difficult year for many across Michigan. Now that I am here working on your behalf, please know that I will do all I can to help our state emerge stronger than ever.”
Damoose represents the 107th District in the Michigan House, including Emmet, Chippewa and Mackinac counties, and part of Cheboygan County.
